I thought I’d tell you about some of my favourite shops on Oxford Street today – I hope this will be useful especially if you don’t have these shops where you come from, have never been to London or are planning on visiting London 🙂
Lush is a cosmetics shop which makes fresh, handmade natural cosmetics every day. The staff are so lovely and give demonstrations in store of all different kinds of bath bombs and products and a ‘pick and choose’ system operates in store – you able to pick a bag and choose all different kinds of items such as bath bombs, bubble bars, FUN, shower products and so much more. To explore their giant range of products, visit their website by clicking here.
The Oxford Street store is opposite Uni Qlo on the East side of Oxford street. It is the largest lush shop in the world, with 3 floors of pruducts to try, buy and experience – it’s like walking into cosmetics heaven! For more information on the Oxford Street store, please click here.

2. Primark – Oxford Street East
If you’ve been to Oxford Street before then you’ve most likely visited Primark Oxford Street West as it’s nearer Selfridges and all the other shops at the west end of the street. However, it is well renound for being untidy and with extremely long queues for the changing rooms – not ideal.
This is why I always take a trip to the Primark at the other end of Oxford Street, opposite Tottenham Court Road tube station. With more room and more floors of fashion, it provides a better atmosphere to shop in! Queues for the changing room are low, if not non existant and there is never a queue longer than 5 minutes for the pay desk.
Prices are always very affordable, offering discounted prices for clothing, accessories and homewares for all ages.

3. Urban Outfitters
I love this Urban Outfitters pure and simply. With 3 floors of amazing products to buy, you can’t go wrong with UO. All the different brands, not found in every high street store, you’ll find something new every time you visit. Also, check out the photo botoh on the 3rd floor – you can take snaps with friends and print them off and also see other snaps that people have taken and stuck to the booth – it looks amazing!

4. Selfridges & Co
Of course I had to pick Selfridges, a classic British establishment for many, many years and also the Flagship store of the company. Although it is a massive store, my best picks are the ground floor technology department, the ‘Shoe Galleries’ and of course the Food Hall. I especially love the food hall – you can buy mainstream food but also interntional food, YoSushi to take home and also products which are limited edition to Selfridges London – go and check it out! 🙂

5. Ben’s Cookies
I know that this isnt technically a shop, but I thought I’d tell you about it anyway 🙂 Ben’s Cookies is a small cookie shop/stall which sells delicious freshly baked cookies every day. Founded in 1983, you are able to buy Ben’s cookies at the shops/stalls, but they also deliver in certain areas of London. With over 18 types of cookie to choose from (I would personally recomend triple chocolate chunk and orange and milk chocolate!), they are one of the best treats in town after a long day shopping.
There are two locations of Ben’s cookies on Oxford Street, one on West Oxford Street opposite Debenhams (its tucked away and you have to look for it meaning there are never any queues) and one on East Oxford Street next to Virgin Media. Next time you are on Oxford Street, why not pop into one of these stores and grab some delicious cookies!
